She worked as an Accountant at Pharr Yarns for 32 years. Wanda loved cooking and enjoying time in the North Carolina mountains with her family.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in passing by her brothers, Doyle Buchanan and Dwayne Buchanan and sister, Connie Buchanan.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jerry Mundy; son, Steve Mundy; daughter, Sherry Floyd and husband Scott; grandson, Matthew Floyd and wife Brittany; and great grandsons, Gavin and Easton Floyd.
A visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park with a funeral service to start at 2:30 pm. Burial to follow in Gaston Memorial Park.
