William "Bill" Everett DuBose

Bill graduated from Ashbrook High School and received a degree from UNC Charlotte. He retired from Trane Supply in Charlotte, NC.

Mr. DuBose was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Gastonia, NC. He had a passion for all sports, especially the North Carolina Tarheels. He loved the beach, his family, and the time spent together coaching youth football.

He is preceded in passing by his mother, Margaret Everette DuBose and father, Horace Mellard DuBose, III.

Bill is survived by his wife, Wanda Kay DuBose; children, Monty DuBose, Erica Bobo and husband Scott; grandchildren, William Bryson, Jetta Bryson; step-grandchildren, Joshua Bobo, Amanda Horne and husband Steven; step-great grandchildren, Zachary Wilson, Bentley Horne, and Brayden Bobo; brother, Vaughn DuBose and wife Janet; nieces, DezaRae Franks and husband Ron, Angie Odel and husband Scott, Beth Adams and husband Fred; nephew, Sean DuBose and wife Traci; great nieces and nephews, Adrian, Anson and Zelda; great great nieces and nephews, Adonis, Asher and Joey; Special extended family, Geoff Coon and wife Amy, their daughter, Rana and Beloved canine companion, Elvis.

A memorial service for Bill will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Christ United Methodist Church, 3415 Union Road, Gastonia, North Carolina 28056.
