William was born in Towns County, GA to the late Frank Freeman Galloway and the late Connie Brown Galloway. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his two brothers, James Galloway and Ken Galloway; his niece, Sherry Essary; his nephew, Todd Galloway; and his sister-in-law, Barbara W. Galloway.
Bill was a proud Army veteran who served our country from 1958-1961. After his time in the Army, he took on a 25 year long career with Firestone Mills where he worked alongside his parents. He was known as a family man and enjoyed spending time with all of his nieces and nephews.
A graveside Service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. at Gaston Memorial Park, 2205 Williamsburg Dr, Gastonia, NC 28054 officiated by Pastor Dickie Spargo.
Survivors include his nephews, Michael Galloway and Jimmy (Bridget) Galloway; 8 beloved great nieces and nephews; as well as his sister-in-law, June Galloway.
