

Mr. Redmon was born July 21, 1934 in San Benito, Texas, the first son of Arthur Paul Redmon and Ruby Carmel Parker Redmon. He was married to Regina Hamilton for 34 years. Regina passed away in 2007.
He is survived by step-sons, Travis Hamilton of The Woodlands, Texas and Ryan Dowling of Benbrook, Texas; sisters, Tessie Myers of Granbury, Texas and Thelma Burson and husband Jerry of Round Rock, Texas; and eleven nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Mr. Redmon attended public schools in Harlingen, Texas and San Antonio, Texas graduating from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio in 1952. He attended and graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics and Physics. Mr. Redmon was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Army Reserves Officer Training Corps. Then he attended Law School at St. Marys University Law School. After graduation, he attended and graduated from U.S. Artillery School at Fort Still, Oklahoma in both Basic and Advanced Artillery Courses. Mr. Redmon continued in the Army Reserves until he retired with the Rank of Captain.
After active military duty, he began ten years of work with Mortgage Loan and Real Estate Loan Investments Division of Prudential Insurance Company. Then he worked at Chicago Title Insurance in Melbourne, Florida then transferring to Sacramento, California. Mr. Redmon concluded his years for real estate work with Safe Credit Union in Sacramento, California. Then he sold his home and moved to Texas to be with his family.
Mr. Redmon enjoyed playing in golf tournaments and was an active member of First Baptist Church.
A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with his nephew David Kehrer officiating. A Reception will follow the service in the Southwestern Room at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
