Barbara Ann Wolfe

She was born December 12, 1933 in Salina, Kansas. She later moved to Dallas, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, Kansas City and finally settled in Georgetown, Texas in 1997.

Barbara, also known as Barb, Grandma, and GG, loved her life in Sun City. She was a member of the Sun City Georgettes drill team, her neighborhood book club and bridge group and enjoyed playing golf in her younger days!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Alice Clapper, daughter Becky Hoey, and husbands Paul Rice and Roy Wolfe.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Bill Hoey and his wife Jane of Plymouth, Massachusetts, daughter, Nancy Rice Gallmore of Katy,Texas, son, Bill Rice and his wife Kathy, of Katy, Texas, and Nick Rhea of Joplin, Missouri; grandchildren Michelle Schneider and husband Jason of Austin, Texas, Sean Hoey of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Kim Oelkers and her husband Casey of Katy, Texas, Natalie McMeans and her husband Micah of Katy, Texas and Lindsay Gallmore of Katy, Texas; great grandchildren Thomas Hoey of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Alex, Cailyn, and Brooke Schneider of Austin, Texas, Jack and Kate Oelkers of Katy, Texas, and Mackenzie and Kylie McMeans of Katy, Texas. Also, the family would like to recognize the love and dedication shown by her caregiver, Laura Killins.
