

Beverly Jean Fitzpatrick, 77 of Pflugerville, died July 31, 2007 in a local hospital. Rev. Jack Phelps will officiate at the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in the Gabriels Funeral Chapel. Beverly was born May 9, 1930 to Parley and Ruth (Pierce) Simmons in Monticello, Iowa. She married Edward Fitzpatrick in Iowa on June 16, 1948. Beverly worked as a drill press operator for Collins Radio Corporation for many years, but found her passion to be caring for children. She helped out in the nursery at church and even for a time ran her own home-based daycare. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter; Linda Fitzpatrick, and a brother; Robert Simmons. She leaves to cherish her memory children; Dennis (Linda) Fitzpatrick of Cumming, GA., Tammy (Kerry) Robison of Pflugerville, brothers; Pat Simmons of Georgetown, Gene (Liz) Simmons of Manteca, CA., Rick (Ruth) Pierce of Hiawatha, IA., Roger Pierce of St. Cloud, Minn., Ray Pierce of Cedar Rapids, IA., sisters; Velma (Howard) Boots of Marion, Iowa, Shirley Ehlts of Missouri, grandchildren; Daley Fitzpatrick, Dave (Jill) Aronson, Hannah Robison, and Gracie Robison, great-grandchild; Addison Aronson.
