

She was born October 30, 1962, in Roswell, New Mexico, a daughter of the late Emmett (Red) Crawford Brinegar and Mary Florence (Plummer) Till.
Beverly, Wife, Mom, Nana, Aunt Bev, enjoyed baking, arts & crafts, flower gardening, reading and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, along with teaching Amber Rose (miniature poodle) fun tricks. She especially loved crocheting and crocheted a baby blanket for each child and grandchild. Last Christmas she made a sweater and cap for Amber Rose.
Beverly was a member of Skybreak Church in College Station. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, enjoyed reading daily scriptures and studying the Bible with her husband, daughter and friends along with attending the Women of Excellence small group.
Fearless, Perseverance and Determination describes who she was, especially during her last 6 years with colorectal cancer. She trusted God and just wanted to glorify Him; Isaiah 41:10 NKJV became her inspiration.
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Beverly was preceded in death by her ten-year-old daughter Moriah Ann Garza; brothers Jack Crawford Brinegar, Gary Kent Brinegar, Joe Edd Razer, and Clifford Frank Razer and wife Viona of Anahuac, Texas; and sister Sandra Darlene Dixon of Jarrell, TX.
Beverly is survived by husband Ronald Stephen (Steve) Leggio; son, CDR Robert Layne Brown, Jr.; daughter, Amanda Dawn Brown; grandchildren, Vincent Bradley Brown, Haylee Grace Brown, Tabitha Preslie Yanez and Robert Layne Brown III; brothers, Richard Allen Brinegar and wife Carolyn, Joe Don Brinegar and wife Corinne, and Forrest Carl Till and wife Lynn; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Ken) Dixon; sister-in-law, Aida Brinegar. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and many other family members along with friends who will sadly miss her.
Special thanks to Dr. Terry Jenkins, MD, the nurses and staff at the Cancer Clinic, Bryan, Dr. Bryan D. Parrent, MD, and St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital, Bryan, TX who provided invaluable care to Beverly for many years. Dr. Brian Owens, MD, deserves special recognition for managing Beverly’s intense pain these past seven months.
Beverly’s visitation will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628.
