Brandi Nicole Nunn

Brandi attended school in Georgetown and graduated from Georgetown High School in 2001.

Softball was Brandi’s sport. She played on a traveling softball team for several years mainly as a pitcher or first baseman. As a student at Georgetown High School she played on the Freshman, JV, and Varsity softball teams. You could always count on finding Pa and Me-maw in the stands watching her play.

Brandi was blessed with a daughter, Jessica Jane Alff, on July 13, 2004. Brandi was so proud of Jessica’s accomplishments in cheer, showing goats, and finishing her first year in college. Brandi was a proud cheer mom.

In 2001 Brandi was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Despite being confined to a wheelchair she never lost her sense of humor, positive attitude, and her ability to laugh at herself.

Gathering with family, sharing photos of herself with Barney the cat and Bella and Riley the dogs, eating pop tarts, and drinking iced coffee was what she enjoyed. On Facebook you knew she was going to post something that would make you laugh.

Brandi was preceded in death by grandparents, Lawrence and Juanita Nunn of Georgetown, Texas, and grandfather, Harold D. Moore, of Georgetown, Texas.

Brandi is survived by her parents, Ronny and Vickie Nunn; daughter, Jessica Alff; sister and brother-in-law, Britni and Cameron Weaver; niece, Kayla Weaver; grandmother, Charlsie Moore; best friend, Sarah Rogers; uncles and aunts, Ricky Nunn, Danny and Janet Moore, Donna and Dwayne Hooks, Cheryl Moore and Steve Howell; cousins, Abigail Moore, Daniel Nunn, and Christopher Nunn. You could say Brandi had a village that loved her and cared about her and that village included many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Weaver, Mack Russell, Wesley Russell, Josh Faught, Michael Wright, and Jeremy Rogers.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Burial following service at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Georgetown, Texas.

Donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in her memory.
