Brysen Paul Zahler, born June 25, 2002, was only 17 years old when he passed away on November 3, 2019. On that day we lost our beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend; but heaven gained an angel. Our hearts are shattered as we mourn the loss of this young man that was loved by so many. We are comforted that he will not be alone, and that he will be looking down on us with his grandfather (Robert Joseph Sweda) who he didn’t get to meet on this earth.
Our beloved son achieved his First-degree black belt in Tong So Do in August 2013. He also loved playing video games, he could be heard screaming while playing Xbox online with his friends. He also loved spending time with his brother and sister, and he even liked spending time with his parents. We will forever remember our annual 4th of July trips as a family. We created some pretty wonderful memories on those trips.
Sadly, Brysen leaves behind his parents Eric and Michelle Zahler, older sister Terra Zahler, older brother Zachary Zahler, nephew Brody Steinbeck, his grandparents, and the countless people that called him “friend”. You are greatly missed and will never be forgotten our sweet Brysen.
Our hearts are hurting with unbearable pain. We love you Brysen – Mom and Dad

Speak Their Name
Someone I love has gone away
And life is not the same
The greatest gift that you can give
Is just to speak their name
I need to hear the stories
And the tales of days gone past
I need for you to understand
These memories must last
We cannot make more memories
Since they're no longer here
So when you speak of them to me
It's music to my ear
