Casie Lynn Bishop

Casie Lynn Bishop (née Ledbetter) came into this world like a ray of sunshine on June 11, 1973 in Waco, Texas and left us way too early on February 7, 2016. Her passing has left a huge void in so many of our lives that knew her well.

She is survived by her Husband of 26 years Jessie, her two fabulous sons, Derrick and Drake of Georgetown, Texas, her Mother, Mrs. Naomi Duckett and Step Father, Gene Duckett of Houston, Texas, in addition to a sister and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends of whom loved her and miss her very much.

Her greatest contribution to this world she would say, were her two sons Derrick and Drake.

Casie’s amazing childhood adventure was traveling to her aunt’s house in Shanghai, China in 1985. As a wide eyed young traveler, it was a different and amazing world to experience that she never forgot.

She is at peace now and as we go back into our memories and reminisce and enjoy the time we knew her, we laugh at the silly, cry at the sad but will always and forever keep her in our hearts.

A catered reception visitation in honor of Casie will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the Southwestern Room at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
