

Clarence Noel Jones, Jr., of Indian Mound Ranch located in Liberty Hill, Texas, passed away in his home on March 6, 2015. He was married to the love of his life, Patricia (Pat) Ann Becker Jones for 47 years who preceded him in death.
Clarence was born in Bowling Green Kentucky, January 27, 1946, to Clarence Noel Jones, Sr., and Tonito Lonell Crouch Jones. He leaves behind daughters; Terri Jones Hanley and husband, Craig Hanley and Susan Jones Anderson. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Aubrey Cantrell, Savannah Anderson, Allison Cantrell, Dallas Anderson and Kenneth Alexander; his loving sister, Jennifer Parsons and husband Pat; brothers, Howard Jones, Jimmy Jones, and Mike Jones.
Clarence graduated High School in Warren County Kentucky in 1963, and upon graduation he joined the United States Air Force which relocated him to Austin, Texas. He served 4 years and was discharged honorably in 1967. In 1968 he joined the Austin Police Department and met many lifelong friends. He left the police force in 1972 to pursue a career as a master electrician.
Clarence and Pat moved to her family home in Liberty Hill, Texas in 1975. They spent the next 40 years working and building Indian Mound Ranch to its present historical designation, which was established by Pat’s family in 1873.
Clarence worked tirelessly as a master electrician serving the Austin Metropolitan area for many years. He also was a rancher, loving husband, devoted father and friend to many. He will be missed by many who he was associated with in Drag Racing, The Liberty Hill community, and the Electrical Industry where many individuals relied on him for his knowledge and advice. He was a wizard!
A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas. A graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the Whitehead Cemetery on Indian Mound Ranch in Liberty Hill, Texas.
