Della Belk

Della Belk, age 97, of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011. She was born on February 25, 1914 in Liberty Hill, Texas to Anthony Innmon and Susie E. (Smith) Innmon. Della was married to Hays Belk for 73 years.

Della was a people person who enjoyed talking to everyone and always had a positive outlook on life. She enjoyed sewing and gardening but loved to play dominos. Della was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hays Belk, daughter Glendene Morris and son Donald Belk.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Cheryl Madsen and husband Lesley of Round Rock, Annette Stewart of Hutto, Jeanette Brownlee and husband Mike of Dripping Springs and Amy Belk of Austin; grandson, Ronnie Belk of Austin; great-grandchildren, Christy Farmer, Colby Madsen, Jeff Madsen, Brad Stewart, Jason Stewart, Catie Garza and Michael Brownlee; and seven great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:30- 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Mike Brownlee officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Stewart, Jason Stewart, Michael Brownlee, Michael Anthony Garza, Jeff Madsen and Troy Farmer.
