

The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M., March 21st at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with Senior's Pastor Logan Cummings and Pastor Greg Hammack officiating.
Burial will follow at Weir Cemetery in Weir, Texas. He will be laid to rest next to his father, Lonnie Lee Keese and brother, Rodney Eugene Keese.
Family and friends are invited to join the family, Sunday, March 20th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. for a visitation at the funeral home.
He was born November 20, 1923 in rural Williamson County near Weir, Texas to Lonnie Lee Keese and Myrtle Butler, both deceased. Edward served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942 – 1945. It was during this time that he met his sweetheart, Eileen Larson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They were married in 1945 and cherished 65 years together.
Ed owned and operated the Exxon service station in Leander, Texas for over 30 years. His friends and customers always knew he was there with a helping hand and willing spirit no matter the time of day/night or need.
He was a founding member of Leander Volunteer Fire Department and kept a phone at his station to help dispatch calls when people needed help.
Edd enjoyed worshipping at First Baptist Church and Union Hall Baptist Church both in Leander, Texas and Main Street Baptist Church in Georgetown, Texas. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #0447 in Round Rock, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Larson Keese; three sons, Ronald Keese of Tennessee and Kenneth and John Keese both of Central Texas; as well as six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Frances McFarland of Burnet, Texas; and brother, Charles (Pete) Rabik of Georgetown, Texas.
