

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert Tschoerner, parents Alvin and Wilhelmine Brabandt, brothers Ben, Sam, Calvin, Dalton, Alton, and Tony, sisters Lena, Norma, Hulda, Esther, and grandchild Bradley Everts.
Evelyn was born on September 10, 1930 in Winchester, Texas. She married Wilbert Tschoerner on May 3, 1948.
Evelyn lived most of her life in Jarrell, Texas and raised seven children. She is survived by her children, Betty Ann (Frankie) Vrabel of Jarrell, Wilbert (Inge) Tschoerner of Temple, Jimmy (Judy) Tschoerner of Georgetown, Lucille Dixon of Pflugerville, Nancy (Tony) Ziegler of Jarrell, Mary (Willie) Everts of Jarrell, and Randy Tschoerner of Pflugerville. She is also survived by a sister Bernice Collins of Corona, California.

Evelyn loved to be surrounded by her large family. The Brabandt and Tschoerner families always gathered for reunions and holidays, enjoyed the outdoors, barbecued, played horseshoes, and visited with relatives near and far. Evelyn was a wonderful cook and always made delicious pecan pies for the holidays. She treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Every year at Christmas, she crafted simple homemade ornaments for each one.
Evelyn was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg, Texas.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to Will ‘O Bell Nursing Home for the loving care and support they showed us during her entire stay and last days.
A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, Texas from 5-7 pm.
The funeral service will take place the following morning also at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel at 10 am, with Pastor John Davenport officiating. The burial will follow at Corn Hill Cemetery in Jarrell.
