Dad, the most important thing you taught me was how to pray. I promise Jerry and I will pick up the torch and be the prayer warriors to pray over our family. You were a powerful man of God who lived your life by example, without saying a word. One thing I loved, you were always the same person, whether it be Sunday at church or Saturday at a ball game, your gentle Godly spirit was always there.. I love you....Shannon
Papa, so very thankful you hardly ever missed any of my ball games. and you always made time for Chandler and I....luv, ..Cheyenne
Papa, thank you for being an honorable Godly example and the anchor of this family. Thank you for carrying the mantle. We wouldn't be who we are without you. You will forever be missed. Until we see you again, I love you.... Tammy
Papa, thank you for all the memories we had together. From Main Event to the Ringling Brothers Circus every year for mine and reds birthday. Sitting on your lap driving down the road and shooting squirrels off the back porch. Thank you for always being at my games and cheering me on. Without you here, life wont be the same, but I know you are no longer in pain and are showing everyone your brand new wings. Love, your favorite grandkid, Chandler. Gone but never forgotten. I love you papa. I'll see you soon.
Papa, Thank you for being the Godly example in our life and for loving us as we were. We will miss you!!!.. Chelsy, Ashley, and Samantha
Papa, I am thankful for your love in my life, you taught me what a true man of God was. Every time I thought I would get to the prayer room early: I would open the door, only to find you were already there. Your humble service to the Lord was inspiring. I am thankful for the memories of making hand churned peach ice cream on the back deck, playing countless hours of card and dominoes, or just sitting on the back porch enjoying the beauty of the day. No matter where I was in my life, I always knew you were praying for me. You held up our family in prayer, you never gave up on us, and you never quit believing that God had a plan and a purpose for our lives. For that I will always be grateful. Although, your presence will be greatly missed here on Earth, but I know all of heaven is rejoicing at your arrival. Until we meet again... Sherri
