

Inez H. Clark, 95 of Georgetown, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at her residence. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. The Rev. Dr. Steven R. Rottgers will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 27, 2008 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at a later time in Five Mile Cemetery in Dallas. Inez was born June 11, 1913 to John Tillman and Minnie Belle (Dodson) Hodges in the small community of Plemmons, TX. She married Ernest E. Clark, Jr. and set out in her life’s work of being a homemaker to her family. A devoted mother and grandmother, she delighted in watching her family grow and prosper. She enjoyed a good game of Bridge and many other tabletop games with her family and friends. She appreciated nature and its beauty especially birds. In her later years she found time to travel abroad with tour groups to England, Scotland, and other destinations. She moved to Georgetown to be near her loving family. Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest in 1968, four sisters; Sarah H. Scott, Mary H. Martin, Nora Rebecca H. Greer, and Anne Elizabeth H. Stanford, a brothers; John Mitchell Hodges and Cal Hodges. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter; Toni Edwards and husband William H. Pierce of Georgetown, grandchildren; Beth Edwards of Ft. Worth, A. Joe Edwards, Jr., and wife Krystal of Ft. Worth, Jennifer L. Pierce of Bellevue, NB., a precious great-granddaughter; Jessye Corine Edwards of Ft. Worth, nieces and nephews; Thelma (Doolie) Snow of Sevierville, TN., Gene Scott and wife Connie of Amarillo, Billie June Wilson of Austin, Mary Avis Smith of Mineral Wells, Dovie Barrett and husband Les of Canyon, J.T. Martin and wife Dorothy of Lampasas, Charles Martin of Temple, Hodges L. Martin, M.D., and wife Eun Ju of Austin, John Greer of Conroe, Lucia A. Hodges of Pflugerville, John Ernest Hodges of Austin, Daniel D. Hodges and wife Dinnah of Lampasas, Christine Hodges and husband Les of Liberty Hill, Rebecca Turner and husband Tom of New Castle, WA.
