Jackie was a child of God and friend to everyone. She was born in city of Kermonshah Iran on October 31, 1963, to Youberd and Violet Beteishooadeh, and was the middle child of three. After graduation from high school due to the turmoil in that country she immigrated with her younger sister, Annie, flying a world away to the United States in 1984. The sisters lived together, establishing a new home so they could welcome their parents and older sister, Fiona, a year later. Jackie then studied in college and later university in Turlock, California.
In 1990 she moved to San Jose, California and in 1995 she met her now husband Michael Shing. In 1997 Jackie married him and they made a life together full of love. With her sister she was able to open a preschool that proved to be her calling, a love for all children, especially her niece, Andrea. She does not leave any children of her own behind.
Jackie was kind hearted, loving, encouraging, and faithful person. She always put other person’s needs such as her older sister, Fiona, before her own needs and never complained about her pain and suffering. After Jackie lost her older sister to cancer she realized her mother's health was fading as well. Being a caring person that she was she took responsibility for the care of her mom, but lost her mom in few short years. She then took over care for her father. But unfortunately after 5 years of remission from breast cancer the cancer metastasized to Jackie’s brain, liver, bones and other body parts and this time the cancer was ever more aggressive.
She was a loving wife, and caring daughter and spend her time taking care of them as well as her little puppy, Powder. She was also very active and present in taking care of her Goddaughter/ niece Andrea and loved her unconditionally. She was best friend and sister to her younger sister, Annie Ebrahimi, and amazing sister in law to Sharli, her brother-in-law. Everyone who knew Jackie felt her love, compassion, courage.
She left behind her husband, Michael; father, Youberd; sister Annie; brother-in-law, Sharli; and her only niece Andrea.
She will be missed as her passing has left a hole. The world will never be the same to her family and friends and everyone will miss the sun that she was in their lives.
