

Jane was born in Washington, D.C. on December 8, 1946 in the same hospital where her two children were born. She was married at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The marriage lasted 48 years and ended upon her death. She was a graduate of the University of Utah in political science. In addition, she attended Susquehanna University and Maryland University. She was a member of Delta, Delta, Delta sorority. She was employed by the FBI for 7 years and then decided to concentrate on raising her children. She worked part time for Woodward and Lothrop Department Store and then finished her career working for the Montgomery Public Schools, retiring in 2011. Jane was active in her community and church. She attended St. Bartholomew's in Laytonsville, Maryland and Grace Episcopal, West Campus, in Georgetown, Texas.
Jane is survived by her husband, Byron L. Williams, Jr.; son, Byron L. Williams, III and his wife, Sabrina; daughter, Jenson Smith and her husband, Dustin; grandchildren, Larkin Williams, Morgan Smith, Holly Williams, Katelyn Smith and Hunter Smith. Extended family includes, step-mother, Mildred Reynolds; brother, Ken Hall and his wife, Randy; sisters, Shelley Hall, Judi Loe and her husband Jim and Jenness Coffey and her husband Mike; and sister-in-law, Joyce Woolsey and her husband Carl. In addition, she left behind many friends and other relatives.
A time of visitation was held on Sunday, August 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held on Monday, August 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, West Campus, Georgetown, Texas,
