Janie was a dedicated Christ follower and mother first and foremost. She loved her daughters with everything she had and embraced every moment with them. Her girls were her biggest accomplishments in life. She also loved her role as Mawmaw. She put her family first always and loved them all fiercely. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and lit up every room she walked into.
Janie served for many years in the nursery at Manchaca Baptist Church where she loved on babies, which was one of her favorite things to do. Through serving in the church nursery, she got to watch many of those babies grow up and many of the kids considered Janie a second momma. Janie also had a strong work ethic and loved her job and co-workers. She counted herself lucky to be able work with such amazing people.
Janie will be remembered by her kind heart, compassion for others, her selflessness, her smile, her ability to make everyone laugh, and her dance moves. Friends and family take heart knowing she is made new and is in the arms of their savior, Jesus.
