Jason earned a degree in culinary arts in Michigan and began his career as a chef aboard cruise ships—an experience he treasured. He later fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening his own restaurant in Michigan. Known for his warmth, loyalty, and joyful spirit, Jason touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
A passionate traveler and adventurer, Jason had a deep love for food, art, and sports. He was a talented athlete and loved to draw. His joy for exploring cultures, especially through their cuisines, shaped his remarkable culinary talents, honed through his time on cruise and naval ships.
Among his proudest achievements was reaching Mount Everest Base Camp in 2024—an adventure that spoke to his fearless and spirited nature. He was most at home in the kitchen, especially when preparing Indian dishes and sharing them with others. His greatest joy was bringing people together through the meals he so thoughtfully created.
Jason is survived by his loving mother, Jane Noronha; his siblings, Joel (Natasha Pereira) and Janice Noronha; and his beloved nephew and niece, Sebastian and Veronica.
