

Jeff was born at Pamona Valley Community Hospital in Pomona California @ 7:35pm, Tuesday, the 16th of December, in 1958. He spent his early years in Ontario, California; New Brunswick, New Jersey; Arksansa City, Kansas and finally in the spring of 1964 the family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, Kenwood District. He graduated from Indian Hill High School in Cincinnati, OH in 1977 and was active in the Naval Reserve before being honorably discharged in 1981. He went on to work at General Electric assembling jet engines. Jeff married his ex-wife Nancy in 1984 and had 2 beautiful children, Paul, and Bethany. His life became about his children as he was actively involved in their sports, school, and church activities. He brought lots of laughter and music into his home and passed those passions down to his children. Jeff was a gifted guitar player and singer. His love of music spanned multiple genres. While rock and roll was clearly his favorite, he also sang in La Casa De Cristo's church choir and his kids' community college choir with his mother Bev, & then wife Nancy. After his kids left home, Jeff became a licensed Pharmacy Technician working for Mayo Hospital and Abrazo Health. He also earned a 3rd degree blackbelt in Taekwondo. Jeff always enjoyed travelling from a young age taking a trip out west with his lifelong friend Howard Wright in 1979 and frequently took family trips to Marblehead, MA and Cape May, NJ. He also enjoyed traveling locally throughout the state of AZ, after moving his family there in 1995. Jeff was an avid member of the NRA and had a huge love for his even huger Great Pyrenees Dog, Baer. Jeff loved with his whole heart.
Jeff is survived and missed by his father and mother, Jim Davis and Beverly Yvonne Davis, brothers, Chris Davis and Greg Davis, 2 children, Paul Davis and Bethany Gilmore, 8 grandchildren Autumn Gilmore, Triston Matthews, Leo Gilmore, Lily Davis, Jimi Gilmore, Jude Davis, Bethany Davis, and Elijah Davis, ex-wife Nancy Davis, and beloved pup Baer.
A Memorial service will be held at Teen Challenge Center, 1515 W Grand Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85007 on Saturday, October 16th @ 2pm. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.
