Jesse Monico Gonzales

Jesse Monico Gonzales, age 94, of Georgetown, Texas, formerly of Austin, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015. He was born in Leander, Texas on June 8, 1921 to parents Ysidro Gonzales and Petra Solis. Jesse served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Texas Crushed Stone for 25 years. He loved to go fishing and watch his grandchildren play football.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Leona Gonzales, son Thomas Gonzales and a daughter Patricia Gonzales.

Jesse is survived by his daughters, Louise Ochoa of Georgetown, Texas, Shirley Acosta and husband Urbano of Durango, Mexico, Lucy Aranda and husband Raul of Georgetown, Texas, and Elvira Mata and husband Pedro of Georgetown, Texas; sons, Jesse Gonzales Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ceasar Gonzales and wife Elaine of Taylor, Texas; brother, Jimmy Gonzales of Austin, Texas; sister, Cecilia Castillo of Austin, Texas; and 26 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and many friends.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown, Texas with Father Sang Quan officiating. Interment will follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Gonzales Jr., Ray Gonzales, Urbano Acosta, Jose Mata, C.J. Gonzales and Ceasar Gonzales.
