Joseph Robert Thomas

Joseph Robert Thomas, age 72, of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012. He was born on August 11, 1939 to Joe and Ann Thomas. Joe married his soul mate of 49 years Linda Walsh on September 17, 1960.

Joe met Linda on a blind date to her senior prom and graduated in 1957 from Arnold High School. He went on to Penn State, graduating with a BS in Biology and Chemistry eventually becoming a national sales manager and one of the most respected leaders in the imaging supplies industry before retiring in 2007. His children grew up with fond memories of watching their parents dancing and kissing in the kitchen. His children wish to remember not how their Dad died, but how he lives on in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda, his mother and father, and his grandson Cohen Walsh Greenhill.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Cheryl Bonfils-Rasmussen and husband Jann of Leander, Texas, Sandra Thomas of Georgetown, Texas and Jody Greenhill of Burleson, Texas; and son Joe Thomas and wife April of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 13 grandchildren, Thomas, Anders, Mei Li and Ying Li Bonfils-Rasmussen, Samantha, Sarah and CJ Morgan, Chase Knighton, Corin and Hannah Greenhill, and Joe, Mia and Jake Thomas; and great-grandchild, Cadence Hatley Morgan.

A visitation is being held Saturday, June 2, 2010 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm both at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with Chaplain Dan Lupo officiating.
