Juana Barron

On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, Juana Garcia Barron of Round Rock, TX, passed away at the age of 77. Juana was born to her late parents Victor García Treviño and Rita Alvarado Arizpe in Nueva Rosita Coahuila, Mexico.

She was separated by Francisco Barron Lopez (Maria), and although separated, he/they were always visiting and checking in on her.

She was loved by many and was everyone's grandmother whoever came into her life. She loved spending time with her family and friends when she was feeling good for the day. She was proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful happy memories. As her health declined, she still put a smile on her face every day until the end. Heaven gained a beautiful Angel, she will be truly missed!

Juana was preceded in death by her son Eduardo Barron in Oct 2020 and her sister Angelita Garcia Alvarado in Feb 2023.

Juana is survived by her 4 children Ramiro (Kari) Barron, of Houston, Cristina (David) Torres of Taylor, Esteban Barron of Elgin, Esmeralda Barron (Daniel Olivarez) of Round Rock, Teresa Monroy Barron of Lockhart; sister Ana María García Alvarado; brothers, Santiago Garcia Alvarado, Fidel Garcia Alvarado. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley, Anthony, Samantha Marie, Esteban Junior, Krystal, Christian, Kacey, Ivan, Samantha Elizabeth, Lalo, Leonel, Adela, and Benito; great grandchildren Adrian, J'saiah, Amilliano, Estelana Jaramillo, Xiomara, Xiochi Barron, and Kobe Lopez.

Juana was in hospice care for over 2 years, she was loved by all the nurses, CNAs, and staff of Generations of Hospice of Austin.

The family will welcome friends for a visitation at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Dr. Georgetown, TX 78628, on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm with a rosary to follow at 7pm. A funeral mass honoring Juana's life will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1:30pm at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 E University Ave, Georgetown, TX 78626. A reception will follow the service at Faithpoint Church, 1050 State Hwy 95, Taylor, TX 76574.
