

Judy was born in Silsbee, TX on February 21, 1949, to J W Spears and Betty Geneva Smith. She moved to Austin in 1966, where she met and married the love of her life. She worked for awhile at the cosmetics counter at Yaring’s in downtown Austin, before starting a career as an Insurance Underwriter, which she did until she retired in 2010. Judy lived her life to the absolute fullest for her Lord and Saviour and her family. She loved her church and her church family and was an inspiration to many people. Judy was the ultimate prayer warrior and would always speak words of grace, encouragement and inspiration to anyone who may have been in need or just simply asked her.
Judy is preceded in death by her father, JW Spears and her brother John Wesley Spears Jr., “Johnny” She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Michael Martin, her mother Betty Geneva Snow, brothers Bobby Spears of Kyle, TX and Leonard Snow of Alaska, and her sister Lynda Kirby of Wagoner, OK. She is also survived by her daughter, Gina Anne Petrich, grandsons Michael Stephen Brinkman and Justin Derek Brinkman and granddaughter Taylor Nicole Wallace and husband Roy Wallace as well as her great-grandsons Jaxon Wayne Wallace and Stetson David Lee Wallace and great-granddaughter Remi Grace Wallace, all of Georgetown TX.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Georgetown.
