Kairo Zhane Concepcion was born sleeping on the 18th of February of 2020. He weighed 10lbs. 2oz. with a full head of wavy hair. When Kairo opened his eyes for the first time he saw the glory of God. When his ears heard outside of the womb for the first time, they heard angels rejoicing. In the nine months he was with us he brought the family joy and happiness.
Amari was first given a picture of the sonogram, and was asked what it looked like. Her reaction was priceless. "It looks like a shark", was her first reaction. She was beyond excited to hear she was going to be a big sister.
It came time for the reveal to find out the gender of the baby. Angel and Rosie used smoke canons to find out that it was going to be a boy. Amari's reaction was not only priceless but hilarious as she was upset she was having a baby brother. As for the family, they secretly were wishing for a boy. Amari quickly grew to love the idea of having a baby brother.
Kairo was a very active baby boy, always kicking and moving around in his mommy's belly, Amari loved feeling her brother's kicks and was constantly giving him hugs and kisses as she loved cuddling with him. We want to think that Kairo’s kicks were his way of saying, "I love you too".
It was getting close and we would soon get to meet baby Kairo, but there was one more party to have before he arrived and that was his baby shower. The theme had to match his active character, "Let's Get Wild" with zebras, giraffes and lions.
Kairo's life was short and his passing has left an enormous void in all of our hearts. Let us remember our precious baby as sweet and pure as we will see him again one day and he will forever be our baby.
Kairo is preceded in death by his great grandparents Teodoro Gomez Sr., Renford Kerr, Sandra Kay Kerr, Angel Concepcion II, Guadalupe Reyna and Fidencio L. Reyna.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents Angel R. Concepcion Jr. and Rosie L. Reyna, Sister Amari Jai Concepcion, Grandparents Leandro and Rosa Reyna, Andrea Y. Kerr, Angel R. Sr. and Edna Concepcion. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. He will be laid to rest at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery.
