Katherine Bernadette Deller

Born on November 27, 1939 in Rockaway Beach, NY, she was the beloved wife of Arthur R Deller, devoted mother to Arthur E & Stephanie H Deller and Eric R Deller, and cherished grandmother of Alexander A Deller, Adam J & Olivia G Deller and Grace M Deller. Family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into creating a home filled with warmth, kindness, and love.

Grandma Kitty was known for her helpful nature, selfless attitude, loving heart and generous spirit. She retired from Grumman Aircraft Corporation as an office secretary which is where she met her late husband, Arthur R Deller. She raised her two boys in a wonderful home in Holbrook, NY. She was a den mother and actively involved in Scouting, Civil Air Patrol, Archery and many other organizations her boys belonged to. Once she had grandchildren, she enjoyed caring for them and creating special memories with them. She spent her recent days enjoying water aerobics, lunch with friends, and taking leisurely walks around the neighborhood with friends and her beloved pup, Sunny. Kitty volunteered countless hours as a literacy partner at local elementary schools in Kerrville, TX and also at Cactus Ranch Elementary in Round Rock, TX, touching the lives of many children.

She will be remembered for her love of books and reading, the love she had for her family and her willingness to help her friends and loved ones. She made everyone feel appreciated and understood.

She is survived by her son Arthur E Deller, wife Stephanie H Deller and grandchildren Alexander, Adam, Olivia and Grace Deller, and preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Arthur R Deller and her devoted son, Eric R Deller.

Her family would like to thank Altus Hospice of Georgetown for their compassionate care. Grandma Kitty was able to remain at home and be surrounded by her family during her final days.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
