Larry Max truly never met a stranger.
After earning a Business degree at the University of Southern Arkansas, Magnolia, Arkansas, Larry was a long-time employee of Exxon in the exploration department. He was very proud of his work and traveled extensively during his career, making friends all over the country. He also served in the National Guard.
Larry was a proud and dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge in Liberty Hill, Texas. He worked hard to be a mason and was passionate about being a part of the fraternal organization. This was a very important accomplishment in his life. He was also a long-time member of the Elks Lodge.
Larry felt his greatest achievement was his relationship with family and friends; he loved people and loved spending time with those he cared about. His three little dogs also gave him so much joy. He enjoyed RVing and had many friends in Ruidoso , New Mexico, which he considered his second home. Larry was the epitome of Texas: a big cowboy hat-wearing man with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was greatly loved, and he will be missed. All those who knew him know he held us dear in his big heart, and we are the better for it and very grateful to have loved him and been loved by him.
