

Linda Lea (Walsh) Thomas, age 70, of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010. She was born on September 12, 1939 in Natrona, PA to Clarence and Lucy Walsh. Linda married her soul mate of 49 years Joseph Thomas on September 17, 1960.
Linda met Joe on a blind date to her senior prom and graduated in 1957 from Harbrack High School, where she was head majorette. She went on to nursing school and remained an RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for 33 years before retiring in 1993. Her children grew up with fond memories of watching their parents dance in the kitchen. Her husband Joe wishes to remember not how Linda died, but how she lived.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters Eleanor, Flo, Isabel, and Patty and her grandson Cohen Walsh Greenhill.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Thomas; daughters, Cheryl Bonfils-Rasmussen and husband Jann, Sandra Meola, and Jody Greenhill; son, Joe Thomas and wife April; grandchildren, Thomas, Anders, Mei Li and Ying Li Rasmussen, Samantha, Sarah and CJ Morgan, Chase Knighton, Corin and Hannah Greenhill, Joe, Mia and Jake Thomas; and great-grandchild, Cadence Hatley Morgan.
A visitation is being held Monday, March 22, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and a private funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with Chaplain Dan Lupo officiating.
