Lloyd E. Davis

Lloyd E. Davis, 63, of Georgetown, Texas, quietly went into the Lord’s presence on May 29, 2018. A native of Lakeland, Florida, Lloyd is fondly remembered for his generosity, love of family and persistence in the face of adversity. Throughout his life he enjoyed playing high school football and putting the shot, playing his guitar, Scouting, landscape painting, spoiling his cat and taking care of his dear Mom. Lloyd was a founding member of Bethany Christian Church of Lakeland, and upon moving to Texas enjoyed being a member of Round Rock Christian Church where he sang in the choir and participated in the men’s fellowship. He had a real servants heart and loved volunteering at the Caring Place in Georgetown.Recently Lloyd benefitted from wonderful care provided by Altus Hospice and many other healthcare professionals. They all commented on Lloyd’s great attitude and bravery despite his many health issues.Lloyd is survived by his mother, Marilyn, his brothers Duane (Keri) and Greg (Karen), nieces, grand-nieces and nephews and loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Arthur Dale and his father Arthur, Jr. Memorial donations may be made to Round Rock Christian Church, 22 Chalice Way, Round Rock, TX 78665.A celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held on Sunday, June 24th at 2:00 pm at Round Rock Christian Church.
