Lonnie R Moore

Lonnie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He moved back to Florence in 1994 upon his Honorable Discharge from the Army. Lonnie was a trade carpenter and enjoyed fixing things. He loved to work on and build cars. Lonnie and Audrey Brown were united in marriage on May 31, 1980 in Florence, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Alvin and Mary Helen Moore; sister, Janet Arista; child, Trent Ray Moore; father-in-law, Joe Brown and brother-in-law, Bobby Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Audrey; sons, Charles, Stephen and Jeffery; siblings, Alvin Eugene Moore of Austin, George Moore of Burnet, Kenneth Moore and wife Linda of Georgetown, Alan Moore of Burnet, Kerry Rush and husband James of Austin, Annette Willis and husband John of Temple and Letha Atkison and husband Greg of Burnet; mother-in-law, Evelyn Brown; brother-in-law, James Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 12:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Florence, 106 College Ave, Florence. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 pm. Interment will be held at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, Texas.
