

Marc Hamilton Sansom was born in Austin, Texas, on January 27, 1967. He was the son of James Word, Jr., and Minnie Faye Sansom. He died on October 22, 2014, at the age of 47 in Liberty Hill, Texas, at the home of his parents.
He attended Austin public schools, and Austin Community College where he received his certificate in Marine Mechanics. He was a natural mechanic. He loved hunting on his family’s land in Liberty Hill and the Shield Ranch in Coleman County and loved fishing, especially in the Gulf of Mexico. He enjoyed cooking on the grill whether it was expensive steaks or just hot dogs. In the past two years, he became interested in bee keeping and shared delicious wild flower honey with family and friends.
He worked as a Marine Mechanic for several years and at the Water Development Board while he lived in Austin, Texas. In 2008, he moved to Hutto, Texas, and a short time later started working for HEB Food Stores. In the summer of 2014 he moved to Liberty Hill.
He is survived by his parents; his wife, Victoria; son, Tyler Sansom; brother and wife, James Alan and Jeanette Sansom; one niece and her husband, Jennifer and Lance Burrough; nephew, James Edward Sansom; great-nephew, Parker Burrough; his aunt, Dalphene Bruton of Kingwood, Texas; his aunt and uncle, Elouise and Joe Don Denton, of Dallas, Texas; his aunt, Olga Edwards of Spring, Texas; former wife, Sandra Fantetti, and many cousins, friends, and coworkers.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on November 2, 2014, with a reception immediately following at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas, 78628. If you are unable to attend the 2:00 P.M. service another memorial service will follow at 5:00 P.M.
