Mary "Casey" Elizabeth Youngstrom

Mary Elizabeth Youngstrom, lovingly known as “Casey”, 78 of Sun City, Georgetown, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Mary’s family will celebrate a Memorial Mass on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00AM at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Georgetown. Mary was born February 21, 1934 in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late Patrick and Mary Feeney Casey. Mary met her loving husband of 54 years, Jerry Youngstrom and they married on October 30, 1954. Casey and Jerry were in the St. Paul, MN area for over 50 years, moving Sun City 8 years ago. Before moving to Texas, Mary and Jerry were avid house boaters, enjoyed many hours traveling up and down the Mississippi River. Upon moving to Texas, Casey has been very active in the Sun City community. She was a member of the Solos Club, and the Cajun Club; Casey also enjoyed bowling with friends and volunteering at The Caring Place. Casey attended St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Georgetown and Santa Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Casey was a devoted grandma, mother and friend, she will be truly missed. Casey is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Mary Casey; her husband, Jerry Youngstrom in 2008; her daughter, Theresa Youngstrom in 2008; and her brother, Martin Casey. Casey leaves behind to cherish her memory her two children and their families, Carole Youngstrom Oslovar and her husband Richard of Round Rock, TX, and their children, Tony and Nick Oslovar; Stephen Youngstrom and his wife Terri of Mesquite, TX and their son, Matt Youngstrom; sister, Ellen Casey of Apple Valley, MN; nieces and nephews, Dan and Karen Casey and their children, Erin, Sean and Liam Casey; Ann Casey Gawronski and her children, Carlin and Avery Gawronski; and Mike Casey; along with a host of loving friends.
