Mary Emaline Fowler Robbins, 97, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, in Llano, Texas. Born on November 17, 1927, in Georgetown, Texas, Mary lived a life defined by faith, family, and service to others.
Mary was married to Joe Truman Robbins, her loving husband, until his passing in 2009. Together, they raised four children: James Edward Robbins (deceased), Peggy Arlene Robbins, Carol Jean Robbins (deceased), and Baby Boy Robbins (deceased, stillborn). Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mary leaves behind six grandchildren: Thomas Robbins, Jillian Radovcich, Jamie Ziegler, Joshua Lawton, Jessica Frey, and Jennifer Haley. She is also survived by eleven beloved great-grandchildren: Reagan Robbins, Reece Robbins, Grace Luevanos, Emma Frith, Carter Frith, Cara Jean Ziegler, Chloe Ziegler, Weston Lawton, Natalie Lawton,Cameron Haley, and Camille Haley.
A dedicated and hard-working individual, Mary retired from sales at Wickes Lumber Company. Her true passion, however, was her faith. She read the Bible daily until her eyesight failed and devoted herself to serving her church. As the treasurer and a nursery worker at Memorial Baptist Church in Navasota, Texas, she was a cornerstone of her faith community.
Mary lived a life of unwavering principles, never drinking alcohol or smoking. Her commitment to living virtuously and putting others first left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Mary was laid to rest on Monday, January 20 at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
