Mary Ann Valdez

Mary Ann Valdez, age 46 of Round Rock, passed away on Saturday February 23, 2008 in Temple, Texas. Rev. John Guzaldo will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Georgetown. Interment will follow in Georgetown Memorial Park. Mary Ann was born July 9, 1961 to Enrique and Marcelina (Ramirez) Valdez, Sr. in Georgetown. She graduated from Georgetown High School in 1978. Mary Ann worked as an administrative assistant for the Georgetown Independent School District. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her mother; Marcelina Valdez, brother; Enrique “Henry”, Jr., sisters; Sylvia Valdez and Beatrice Valdez. She leaves to cherish her memory her lifelong partner; Dennis Jones of Round Rock, father; Enrique Valdez, Sr. of Georgetown, sisters: Dora and husband Ernest Canales of Georgetown, Juanita and husband Ruben Torres of Round Rock, JoAnn Valdez and fiancée James Alford of Round Rock, Sylvia Ann Valdez of Georgetown, Sofie Carr and fiancée Barry Mitchell of Georgetown, brothers; Jesse and wife Becky Valdez of Pawpaw, MI., David Valdez of Round Rock, Albert and wife Judy Valdez Round Rock, Dario and wife Laura Valdez of Pflugerville, a special niece Alainna Votruba, and numerous other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 in the Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH-35 in Georgetown. There will be a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m
