Nena Raye Blumberg

Nena Raye Blumberg, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010 Round Rock, TX. She was born December 19, 1943 to Ralph and Nena (Matthews) Robinette, in Houston, TX. She married the love of her life Frederick Charles Blumberg III, on July 16, 1973.

Nena Raye Blumberg was a very loving and caring woman of God. Her gift to her family and friends was her ability to always make everyone smile and laugh. Her personality was very outgoing and she, like her mother, never met a stranger. She had the uncanny and rare trait of looking past one's faults to see the best in everyone. She touched so many people's lives during her time here on earth and she is undoubtedly doing the same to all she comes in contact with in heaven.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; and is survived by her children, Nena Fagan, Victor Blumberg and wife Laura, and Aloma Touchet; grandchildren, Lisa Martinez, Monica Martinez, Eric Sweningson, Jenna Guzzetta, and Katelyn Touchet; brother, Harry Robinette and his wife Cathy; and sister, Billie Lou Shields and her husband Jack. Nena is also survived by two special cousins, Sheila Vann and her husband Roy and Anita Whitehead-Montgomery and her husband John as well as by nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

A visitation with the family will be held at Earthman Hunters Creek Funeral Home in Houston, TX, on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Houston National Cemetery at 11:00 AM.Floral arrangements should be sent to Earthman Hunter Creek Funeral Home.
