Norma was born in Natchez, Mississippi and then moved to Ville Platte, Louisiana, where she went to school and later met her beloved husband, the late William "Bill" Warner. They eventually settled in Houston, where they spent most of their years before retiring to a beautiful and peaceful waterfront home on Houston County Lake. After Bill's passing, Norma relocated to Georgetown, TX, to be closer to her daughter and some of her grandchildren. It was there that she spent her final years, surrounded by the love of her family.
Norma was a kind and loving person who never met a stranger—everyone she encountered quickly became a friend. With a heart full of warmth and compassion, she had a gift for making others feel at ease. Her smile was contagious, and her laughter could brighten any room. She was also known for her playful sense of humor, making people laugh and lighting up any room she entered. With a touch of playful charm, she was often known to be a flirt, which only added to her fun-loving personality.
Norma was a devoted mother to two sons and a daughter, a proud grandmother to three granddaughters and one grandson, and a cherished great-grandmother to ten. Her grandchildren and great-grandbabies were her pride and joy, and she showered them with love until her very last day. Norma’s presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt. Though she is no longer with us, we find peace in knowing she is watching over us from heaven. She will forever be missed and remembered with love.
