Pauline Neves Edwards

Pauline (Polly) Edwards, age 58, passed away October 23, 2010, at her home in Salado, TX. She was born to Aurbry and Margaret (Moore) Neves, in Belton, TX, on November 19, 1951. Pauline married Bobby Gene Edwards, in Temple, TX on September 4, 1982. She loved butterflies, humming birds and homemade hamburgers. She loved Texas and iced tea, dragonflies, babies and calves…… and she loved Jesus and her husband and family. She worked too hard but loved every moment of it. She was brave and timid at the same time….. and so generous. Her humor lit up a room or a gloomy heart, she brought so much joy. She was a wife, a mother, sister a “Granny”. Oh how we will miss her. Thank You LORD for letting us know her. She was awesome!!!!!!

Polly is preceded in death by her father, Aurbrey Neves.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years, Bob Edwards, mother; Margaret Neves daughter; La Cretia van de Plas and her husband Williem, son; Willie Edwards, grandchildren; Christian Edwards, Tanner van de Plas, Hayley van de Plas, Angel van de Plas, Ethan “Guido” van de Plas. She is also survived by her sisters; Audrey McBride and LaNell French and her husband Robert, brothers; Leroy Neves and Buster Neves and his wife Phyllis, along with nieces, Sarah McBride, Maggie Lopez, Aimee Butel, Jenna Gray, Melissa Ritter, Alanna Neves, Shawna Edwards and nephews, Lee French, Denton French, Kevin Witte, David Neves, Scott Neves, Keeling Neves, Daniel Neves and James Edwards.

A visitation with Pauline’s family will be held on October 26, 2010 from four o’clock in the afternoon till seven o’clock in the evening, at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, in Georgetown, TX. A graveside services will be held on October 27, 2010 at ten thirty in the morning at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Georgetown, TX.
