He is survived by his loving daughter, Lynn Rose Cerveny and her husband Tony of Georgetown, Texas; and by his grandson, David Badagnani, a professor of Ethnomusicology at Kent State in Ohio.
Ralph served in the Navy during WW II as an airplane mechanic at the Brooklyn shipyards. Ralph was an automobile mechanic, roofer, sign painter, and window dresser. Hobbies of his were oil painting, bass baritone singer, guitar, and harmonica player. He was honored for his years of service by the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, performing at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in Follies.
He resided in New York for 62 years, Florida for 29 and in Georgetown, Texas at Georgetown Nursing and Rehab for the past year and a half. He was a kind, caring, compassionate gentleman.
