Richard “Red” Forrest passed away on the morning of November 28th at the age of sixty. Born in San Antonio on September 24th, 1952, he is survived by a son (Shawn Forrest), a daughter (Casey Forrest), three grandchildren (Hailey, Savannah, and Shannon Forrest), a brother and sister-in-law (Johnny & Missy Forrest), his beloved pit bull (Moochy), and other family members. Richard was a lifetime railroad employee, starting out at the MKT and ending with the Georgetown Railroad. He was also an ordained pastor and an avid Harley Davidson rider. A memorial will be held in his honor at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 5th.
