Robert Morris Carter, Jr., 69 of Georgetown, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. A memorial service celebrating Bob’s life will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 2:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown. Bob was born August 18, 1942 in Alexandria, Louisiana to the late Robert Morris, Sr. and Virginia Friend Carter. Bob and his family have lived in the Georgetown area since the early ‘70’s. Bob worked for IBM for over 20 years. Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Kelly Campbell and her husband Kelly of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Carter and Garrett Campbell of Georgetown and his sister, Polly Carter; along with a host of other loving family members and friends.
