Robert Roy Gelles, age 78. of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012. He was born in Los Angeles, California on August 1, 1933 to parents Louis Nathan Gelles and Bertie (Forbestein) Gelles.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Gelles; a daughter, Glenda Lynn (Gelles) Sims; son-in-law, Scott Simms; and grandsons, Christopher Robert Sims and Benjamin Griffin Sims.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Pastor David Minnick officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Robert Roy Gelles to the RIDE ON CENTER FOR KIDS, at R.O.C.K.
