Scott Alan Beaver

Scott Alan Beaver, age 54 of Georgetown, tragically passed away Saturday September 21, 2019. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, September 25th at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, Texas. His life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 26th at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel. A burial service will follow at IOOF Cemetery.

Scott was born August 5, 1965 in Kerrville, Texas to Philip and Shirley Beaver. The family moved to the Austin area in 1971.  After graduating from Georgetown High School in 1983, he married Robyn Vera in 1985. They had one daughter, Olivia Cheyenne in 1995. Scott and Robyn were together for 20 years. Scott later remarried to Cheryl Pinkerton. The two were married for 6 years. 

Scott was a person of faith who was incredibly kind and caring.  He enjoyed spending time with family and hanging out at rodeo arenas with many of his life-long friends, including Mama Kay. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring antique vehicles, and riding his motorcycle. He was part of a local car club and was previously a member of Georgetown Church of Christ and Open Road Biker Church. Scott was a jack of all trades, from construction and truck driving, to firefighting and working with EMS. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Philip V. Beaver, and sister, Mitzie Beaver. He leaves behind his daughter, Olivia Cheyenne Beaver, his mother, Shirley Beaver, his brother, Phil Beaver, and two sisters, Ann Singer and Darla Townsend.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like, Scott would have wanted donations made to Open Road Biker Church (can be mailed to:  8380 N I-35 Frontage Rd., Georgetown, TX 78626) and also Brent Thurman Foundation (5445 HWY 290 West, Suite 205, Austin, Texas, 78735).
