

Ray married Alleen Davis Peacock on June 10, 1944. He was in the United States Navy and served our country during WWII from February 18, 1943 through March 23, 1946 and having served in the Pacific Theater as a Boatwains Mate 2nd Class. Ray was in the Finance Business for 50 years and owned a Finance Company and loved working in his 2 acre yard.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alleen Peacock of Florence, Texas; sons, Jerry Peacock and wife Nelvon from Ovilla, Texas and Terry Peacock and wife Blanca from Weatherford, Texas; grandsons, William Peacock of Weatherford, Texas and Adam Peacock and wife Carissa from Hurst, Texas; granddaughters, Emmalie Mutrie and husband Jim from Dallas, Texas and Joy Walker and husband Kumi from San Francisco, California; sister, Mary Francis and husband Jody Booth from Whitney, Texas.
He was loved by many friends and family and will be greatly missed by all.
The family will begin receiving friends at 6 o’clock in the evening to 8 o’clock in the evening. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 13th at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at the United Methodist Church in Florence, Texas with Reverend Dean Coultas and Reverend Johathan Mellette Officiating, with an Interment service at 4 o’clock in the afternoon in the Chapel Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Waco, Texas.
