William Harvey Rhodes

William Harvey Rhodes, 83, of Georgetown, entered into rest April 13, 2010 in a local care facility. Masonic memorial rites will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. Harvey was born January 30, 1927 to William Oran and Hattie Elnora (Baker) Rhodes in Pelly, TX. His mother preceded him in death when he was two years old. Harvey entered the Marine Corps at the age of fifteen and saw action in the Pacific Theater and on Iwo Jima. He married Shirley Jean Enderli in 1946. Harvey graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. He practiced in southwest Houston for many years. Harvey later married Dorothy Mae Enderli in 1970. Harvey joined Anson Jones Lodge #1416 AF & AM. in 1971, he was also a member of the Shrine and was active in the Provost Guard and pistol team units. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Rhodes, son Harvey Wayne Rhodes, his granddaughter Heather Darlene Rhodes, his great-granddaughters Misty Dian Rhodes and Bonnie Jean Farley.
