George Calvin Hicks, 74, a resident of Georgiana, Al., passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Richard and Bertha Hicks and Brother, James William Hicks. Mr. Hicks is survived by his Wife, Mary Agnes Hicks Georgiana, Al., Daughters, Diane (Mark) Chavers and Angi (Marty) Hicks, both of Andalusia, Al.; Son, Rusty (Tammy) Hicks, Georgiana, Al.; Sister, Mary Alice Burt, Greenville, Al.; Grand Children, Eric (Hope) Hicks, Georgiana, Al., Zack (Joy) Chavers,Andalusia, Al., Brandi Casey and Casey Hicks, both of Pensacola, Fla., Erin Chavers, Andalusia, Al., Meleah Treadaway, Andalusia, Al Alaina (Ben) Norman and Robyn Hornsby, both of Georgiana, Al., Meleah Treadaway, Andalusia, Al., and Kayla Dewrell; and Great Grand Children, Aiden Hicks, Brodie Houston, and Branson Houston, all of Georgiana, Al. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Morrow Schoolhouse Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until funeral time.
