JoAnn "Jodi" Morsett

Jodi was born to Albert and Joyce Morsett, on May 19th 1969 in Gordon, Nebraska.

She graduated from Gordon High School, and attended WNCC where she received her associate degree. From the time she received her degree, she worked in the health care field in one facet or another helping people where needed. She enjoyed the jobs she had that would help better people’s lives.

Jodi enjoyed helping those in need and would watch over and lend a hand when needed. She would look for the humor in all situations, often making jokes about being able to fit in to children’s cloths, and shoes. She loved her family, close friends, and would bend over backwards to be at any and all family/friend gatherings.

Jodi was preceded in death by her mother Joyce, father Albert, brother Harley, sister Shelly, and her nephew Craig.

Her memory will be carried on by her brothers Jim Morsett, and Ed Morsett, Brother-in-law Brian Stone; her son Joey (Amy) Battiato; her grandkids Aidan, Gianna, and Jackson; her niece Casey Morsett; her nephews Chad (Jerri Lee) Morsett, Jason Coats, J.D. (Amy) Stone, and Jacob (Bree) Stone; her great-nieces Hollie, Kaylee, Izzy, Addy, Emberly, Beretta; her great-nephews AJ, Axton, Kris, Aizik, and Payton; her great-great nieces and nephews, and close friends Trina, Cheryl, Tony, Steph, Lisa, Kassie, and Angela. All of you had a special place in her heart.

At her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services planned. Fond memories, photos and condolences may be left on her webpage on www.geringchapel.com for the Morsett family.
