Deanna Marie Hillier

Born in Sydney she was the daughter of Margaret and the late Raymond Mugridge.

Deanna was employed as an RN at the CBRH and also at Taigh-NA-Mara up until her retirement.

Mom loved spending time in Mira with her family, she enjoyed knitting and numerous arts and crafts, but her greatest joy was spending time with her 8 grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Surviving is her loving husband Terry Hillier; daughter Alecia (John Paul); sons T.J and Sandy; grandchildren Ethan, Jorja, Sadie, Gemma, Dechlan, Adrian, August and Elliot; sister Ruby (Fred); brothers Raymond (Wanda), Howard (Marilyn) and Frankie (Lenore).

Besides her father she was predeceased by father-in-law Billy and mother-in-law Nona Hillier, nephew Tommy, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 30, 2023 from 4pm-8pm in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St Glace Bay. Service will be held in Patten Funeral Home Chapel on Friday March 31 at 2pm.
