Born on June 21, 1949 to the late William and Marie (Gallant) Gouthro. Irvin was a resident of Port Morien and worked for DEVCO as a section man on the rail lines.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Gregory and in-laws Harold "Butch" Murphy and Mary & Jimmy Napier.
Irvin is survived and will be missed by his wife Dorothy, sons Bill (Gail), Leigh and Joey, 4 grandchildren Jack, William, Bane & Brax, sisters Mary (Mike) McIntyre and Linda Gouthro, brothers Raymond (Donna), Russell (Dolena) and Melvin as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
