John "Jake" A. Morrison

Jake was the son of John and Belva (McLean) Morrison. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters. He was the last surviving member of his family.

Jake is survived by his wife of 68 years, Donna (Murphy) Morrison; his son Barry and daughter-in-law Gwen; daughter Arnelle and son-in-law Wayne McLean; his sister-in-law Patsy Morrison; grandsons Mitchell, Richard, and Mark Morrison; granddaughters Laura Jean Turner, Maria (Dylan) MacIntosh, and Diana McLean; great grandsons Preston Morrison and Harrison MacIntosh; and great-granddaughter Brooke Morrison.

Jake began his 36 working years with Devco in the Electric Repair Shop in 1951, retiring as Shop Manager in 1987. Although it was a job he sincerely enjoyed, being able to spend the next 23 winters in the South Florida sun was much better.

We take this opportunity to thank the staff at Harbourstone Enhanced Care for the kindness and care shown to Jake. To the many relatives and friends who assisted us over the last few years – thank you.
